Okay, these Asian Lettuce Wraps are for when you want to be healthy, but also want a flavor explosion in your mouth! They are super easy to whip up on busy weeknights and will leave you with plenty of leftovers for tomorrow’s lunch.

I promise once you make them, they’ll become a weeknight staple.


THE RECIPE

YOU NEED:

Asian Lettuce Cup Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1/4 c. onion, diced
  • 1/2 c. mushrooms, diced
  • 1/2 c. walnut or cashew halves 
  • 1/2 tbsp garlic + onion powder
  • 1 c. TJ’s broccoli + kale slaw
  • 2 garlic cloves, diced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp teriyaki
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 3 green onions, diced 
  • Salt, pepper & red chili flakes⠀⠀⠀

MAKE IT HAPPEN:

① Sauté onion, mushroom, garlic for 5 minutes and set aside on a plate.

② Add turkey and cook for about 5-6 minutes breaking apart with a wooden spoon.

③ Add in all the sauce and seasoning.

④ Add back in the sautéed veggies and toss in the slaw and walnuts.

⑤ Stir everything together and cook for another minute or two.

⑥ Fill up your romaine cups with the turkey treat.

⑦ Drizzle with extra soy sauce and top with green onions.
